What are your opinions on my favorite baby boy names?
These are some of the boy names I'm considering naming my child, if its a boy. Please share your thoughts and opinions on these names. And I'm not looking for middle name suggestions at this point... We're using a family name for the middle name (either Vincent for his grandfather or Gray for mine.)
Dexter (with a nickname of Dex)
Dominick
Drew
Gabriel
Jordan (I also like this name for a girl)
Maddox
Morgan
Oliver
Quentin or Quinn
Trent|||I'll list them in order from favorite to least favorite:
Quentin (10/10) -- I love this one! It's literary and very distinctive. After all, how many names begin with Q? Not many! I have Quentin Alistair on my personal boys' name list. I like Quentin Gray for you.
Oliver (9/10) -- Oliver Gray sounds very distinguished. I like that it's Victorian but coming back into style. In a sea of two-syllable Jacob's, Aidan's, Jayden's, Connor's, and Hayden's, the three syllable Oliver feels very refreshing.
Dominick (9/10) -- Dominick is a good strong boys' name, and, just like Oliver, I find its three syllables refreshing. This name has definitely been gaining some more recognition recently, but it's still not too common (currently ranked #85). I like Dominick Vincent.
Dexter (9/10) -- Dexter is very nerdy-cool. The nickname Dex, however, takes this one out of the laboratory and onto the football field or into the performing arts department. This name could suit a boy of many different personalities. I love it. Dexter Vincent and Dexter Gray both sound great.
Gabriel (8/10) -- Yes, I know it has gotten really common, but I can't help but love Gabriel. Gabe is such as sexy nickname for when he's older. I love the sound of Gabriel Vincent.
Quinn (7/10) -- The name is okay. While it's more popular for boys than girls, for some reason it reads more "girl" to me. I don't like either Quinn Vincent or Quinn Gray, though. I'd recommend going with Quentin instead.
Morgan (7/10) -- I like Morgan on a boy more than a girl, so I'm glad to see it on your boys' list. It doesn't appeal to me quite as much as some of your other options, but it's not bad. I prefer Morgan Gray to Morgan Vincent.
Maddox (6/10) -- I'll admit that this one has a very appealing sound, but it's far too trendy. In five short years, it went from being extremely obscure (not even in the top 1000) to spot #226. Plus, it's a starbaby name. Who wants to be seen as copying Angelina Jolie? Though it's more common, I much prefer Max. Since you like the retro Dexter, you might also consider Felix.
Drew (4/10) -- It's a cute nickname, but it's too much of a nickname, and a common one at that. I prefer Andrew with the nickname of Drew, but I think you have far more appealing options.
Jordan (4/10) -- Boring and overused. There's nothing bad about it, but there's nothing exciting about it either. Its popularity peaked in the 90's, so it's already starting to feel a little bit dated.
Trent (4/10) -- Okay, Trent is kind of sexy, but it's kind of cliche sexy. Trent would be best friends with Chad in a high school TV drama. He'd be tall and good-looking, with light brown hair and green eyes. He'd be on the football team and dating a girl named Taylor. It's not bad, but it wouldn't feel special enough for my child. Does that make sense?
Best wishes, and I hope this helps!|||Dexter

|||i like Gabriel and Quinn the most...
..and Drew..
|||Oliver - Love it! It has a literary feel. Strong %26amp; handsome. I also love the potential nickname Ollie. Oliver Gray is fantastic! 10/10
Gabriel - Great name. It's familiar/traditional without being boring. I like it's "romantic" feel. It has strong biblical ties but doesn't sound overtly religious or Mormon-esque. I would go with Gabriel Vincent. 9/10
Quentin or Quinn - I slightly prefer the longer version, though either is nice. I like it's contemporary charm. It's off-beat %26amp; quirky. Quentin Gray is refreshing! 8/10
Dexter (with a nickname of Dex) - My cats name :) I think it's geeky-cool. I would be apprehensive about using it though because of the tv show. Dexter Gray is spunky. 7/10
Morgan - Im glad to see this on a boy list! Even though the name is originally male it has been taken over by girls :( In 2007 Morgan ranked 43rd on the girls charts %26amp; 407th on the boys! This would make me weary about using it on a boy. If you are daring enough, go for it. I much prefer it on a boy. Morgan Gray works. 6/10
Dominick - I much prefer the spelling Dominic. The "k" on the end is unnecessary and is likely to cause confusion. It's a decent name. I don't have any real like or dislike for it. I am neutral with this one. Dom is a pretty cool nickname. Dominic Vincent is nice. 5/10
Trent - Reminds me of Trent Rezor. It's decent but it doesn't wow me. I think of Trenton New Jersey. 4.5/10
Drew - I would prefer it as a nickname for Andrew. On it's own it lacks substance. 4/10
Jordan - It's so unisex at the moment. In 2007 Jordan ranked in @ #45 for the boys and #100 for the girls. While it it still used more on boys, it is ultra trendy for either sex. I also think of Michael Jordan and basketball. 3/10
Maddox - Save this for Angelina. It will forever be associated with her son. I can see people saying "oh Maddox, like Angelina's son". Also it just sounds like Mad ox to me.1/10

What are good biblical or christian names for a boy?
I have two boys and I was really expecting a girl but it turns out to be a third boy on the way. I was really heartbroken. Im due sept.26. and i havent thought of any boy names...Any ideas on baby boy names that are biblical or christian? Meanings to the names would be great too! Thanks. :)What are good biblical or christian names for a boy?
We just had a baby girl. But if the baby was going to be a boy, we were going to name him Caleb. But we were going to spell it with a K. Like Kaleb.
God told Joshua and Caleb that they and the younger generation under 20 years of age would be the ones who would be able to go into the Promised Land because they had “wholeheartedly followed God.” They had full faith and belief in God that He could defeat all of their enemies once they went into the Promised Land to conquer and possess it.
Don't be heartbroken, rejoice for crying out loud! Yeesh!
Sorry, just a little taken aback. There is no male or female in Christ, after all.
Here are some Biblical names: Matthew, Mark, Paul, James, John, David, Caleb
I also like the name Michael; it means "Who is like God?"
Then there's the more exotic version, Miguel. I just like to say that. Miguel.
Miguel.
You should try a baby names website. Just Google it; that's what I did. What are good biblical or christian names for a boy?

Lucifer.
Pontias and Judas! Or Methoozelah!!

Honestly? I've always loved the name Nathan. :)
Others from the list I choose are Troy, Leo, Brett, Clayton, and Luke. (In that order from 2nd to 6th.)
And some of my personal boy name ideas can be Layton and Nate, but I don't think you want even MORE names bouncing around in your head right now, so those could totally slide. (Besides, they sort of sound like "Nathan" in a strange way anyways (Nate + Layton = Nathan?...) (lol)
Liam, Ryan, and Alexander. What names fo you like from this boy list?
I like Samuel, Daniel, Ryan, Joseph, and Austin best! What names fo you like from this boy list?
Brett, Trey, Benjamin, Alexander, Joseph, Austin.

What do you think of my final boy and girl names?
We find out in a week if its a boy or girl and the names we chose are
Indigo (Indi) for a girl.
Elijah (Eli) for a boy.
Still not 100% sure on the boy name but were having troubles thinking.
Give me your input but negative comments should be backed up with reason. What do you think of my final boy and girl names?
I REALLY like Elijah! I hate indigo though. Sorry! I don't know why but I really don't like it! But it's 100% your call! Don't let our answers push you away from a name you love!
I don't like the name Indigo. Being named after a color is kinda cheesy and it's a nice name when you first read/hear it, but after thinking about it for a second and realizing it's a color, that takes away your positive feelings for the name.
Elijah is a nice, classy, masculine name though. Good job with that one. I hope it's a boy.
Good luck! What do you think of my final boy and girl names?
I love the nickname Indi/Indy - it's such a cute nickname. But I'm not a huge fan of Indigo, it's okay, but it's just that I prefer Indiana over Indigo.
I love Elijah and Eli as the middle name, it's so cute and I think it'd age quite well.
Hope I helped :3What do you think of my final boy and girl names?
I think that Elijah is a nice name but I do not like Indigo. When your daughter will be 30, she'll have to introduce herself as 'Indigo'. It's a nice name for a little 5 year old but not a 30 year old.
If you like obscure names, maybe Cara, Vivienne or Zoe.
Out of 10 for both:
Indigo (7/10)
Elijah (9/10)
Hope this helps!
Indigo is an awesome name for a girl.
Elijah is a bit to common for my tastes, but I like it none the less.
I love Elijah, but I don't like Indigo at all.
It doesn't sound like a name, and sounds more masculine if anything.
Aww Indigo is cuuute.
I love Eli for a boy. :)
Good luck next week, how exciting!!!!

Well I think all names are usable, as long as they are legal. Doesn't mean I necessarily will approve of them, but they're usable!
Peregrine - 8/10 Very handsome, and has Perry as the nickname. Peregrine Walter.
Shakespeare - 6/10 People usually use this one as a middle name ... Shakespeare William, haha.
Apollo - 8/10 Not only handsome, fits in with the current trend for O-enders for boys, and for mythological names (very hip at present). I have actually seen a couple of little kids called Apollo. Apollo Julius
Adonis - 7/10 Same as Apollo really, except fits the trend for S-enders on boys. Seems like an alternative to Atticus. I don't really like the "don" in the middle, as the natural nickname is Donny. Adonis Michael
Hemingway - 4/10 You really want to name your kid after a suicidal old drunk, hey? I think this is better as a middle too. Hemingway Sinbad.
Viggo - 9/10 Super cool name, also fits the O-ending trend. Viggo Adonis ;)
Oberon - 6/10 It's nice, but I think I prefer Auberon or Aubrey. Oberon Marley
Cadmus - 5/10 - That "cad" at the beginning bothers me. Also, the natural nickname is Caddie, which is not only a golf reference, but a girl's name. Cadmus Aurelian
Wolfgang - 8/10 It's very handsome and masculine, but I foresee pronunciation issues ahead. It is said the English way, or the German way? Expect people telling you whatever you go with is wrong. Wolfgang Leopold
Peregrine.....Usable......6
Peregrine Lucas, Peregrine Matthias, Peregrine Niall, Peregrine Tobias, Peregrine Wyatt
Lucas Peregrine, Tobias Peregrine, Thomas Peregrine, Michael Peregrine, James Peregrine

Shakespeare - Not Usable
Apollo - Usable for a middle name only as an 8. Justin Apollo, Milo Apollo, Nathan Apollo,
Sidney Apollo, Tobias Apollo, Zach Apollo
Adonis - Not Usable

I REALLY like Apollo... and I think if you wanted, Wolfgangs middle name, Amadeus. (Ah - Muh - DAY - us) and it means gods love. Also could use Amadeo in the spanish form. I really like that name! Are any of these guilty pleasure boy names usable?
Some of them are very usable. I would use them as a middle name. I am using a GP pleasure name for my new daughters middle name her name will be Kienna Amayelle

What boy names do you think would go pretty on a girl?
I personally love names that could go both ways and most of my favorite girl names happen to be unisex. I know that a lot of people don't prefer boy names on girls and if that's the case with you, I'm not asking for your opinion. Well anyway, here are some of the names I would use on a girl (that are also used on boys).
Addison
Carson
Carter
Kendall
Chandler
Brady
Ashton
Rowan
Charlie
Jadyn
Harley
Baylee
Hunter
Sam
What about you?

I dont like Addison or Baylee for a boy, but the others work!
Also more unisex names are Payton(girl spelling) Peyton(boy spelling) and Taylor! What boy names do you think would go pretty on a girl?

Out of those, I like Addison, Kendall, Ashton, and Jadyn.

Need suggestion for girl names please and opinions on this boy name?
My husband and I are expecting our first baby in January and decided to keep the gender a surprise! We love the name Caden Alexander with the nickname Cade if we have a boy, opinions on it? Also, we are having problems with girl names! We like more traditional/old girl names but not too old; any ideas please?
If you have any open questions, I'd be happy to answer!(Just post the link)

What do you guys think of these names? for a boy Jadon Cole and a Girl Madalyn Nicole?
I want to stick with the J.C for a boys because my other 2 boys are James Caleb and Jacob Caden and for the girl name Nicole is a Definite Cause I want to use my middle name. But what do you think? Also taking suggestions for other J boy Names. What do you guys think of these names? for a boy Jadon Cole and a Girl Madalyn Nicole?
I think those are cute but I think Jadon would get mispronounced frequently.
Cute names in theory, but terribly trendy.
If you're going to stick with Jadon, what about the spelling 'Jaedon'? Much more masculine(:
Jaedon Cole
Jaron Cole
Jaegar Cole
Jedediah Cole
Jeremiah Cole
Jeremy Cole %26lt;3
Justin Cole
Jason Cole
Joshua Cole
Jonathan Cole
Jasper Cole
Jackson Cole
Jared Cole
Jeffrey Cole %26lt;3
Jesse Cole
Jordan Cole %26lt;3
Joseph Cole
Josiah Cole
Julian Cole
For girls.. Madalyn is very very trendy right now.. she'd be one of the many Madelyn/Madison/Madeline's.
What about..
Savannah Nicole - Sav, Savy, Vannie, Vanna %26lt;3
Delilah Nicole
Adrienne Nicole - Adri (ay-dree) %26lt;3
Cheyenna Nicole - Chey %26lt;3
Aubriella Nicole - Aubrie %26lt;3
Isabella Nicole
Amber Nicole

i hate the spelling Jadon... how about Jayden? What do you guys think of these names? for a boy Jadon Cole and a Girl Madalyn Nicole?
I am not a big fan of Jadon, Jayden, Jaden, or however other way people spell it, just because its so common now. Caleb is a very cute name though. How about Jacoby. I think its very unique and you can stick with the JC initials. I love the name Madalyn Nicole. I think its a very pretty name and I like how you Incorporated your name.
Jadrien (Jay + Adrien) Cole
I don't dislike the name Jadon Cole, I just dislike the spelling you've chosen. If you to change the spelling to Jayden or Jaden .. I would prefer that. I love the name Nicole, so I'm all for you using that for the middle name of a little girl, I am just not too into the name Madalyn, but I do like that you've chosen to spell it in a more unique way
Jadon Cole is okay.

I don't care for nickname Luke.
I don't think Dean Gabriel flows that great.
I just suggested Mason Edward on another question.
I used to hate Mason but it's really grew on me.
