I'm due on January 11th to have a baby boy. My husbands name is Jacob Daniel Herrera. I've been set on naming my baby after his father but changed my mind...again. Here is some names i've thought about...
Jacoby - ( Ja-co-be) - One of my favorites***
Jace
Jensen
Jamison
Talan/Talen - Other favorite ******
Nathan or Nathaniel
Kellan
what do you think about these names? Which do you like best? What do you think about these baby boy names?
Congratulations!
Jace is really cute and I also like Nathaniel. What do you think of Nathaniel Jace? He could go by Nate which I think is just such a cute nick name! Good luck ~I LOVE Derek
Jacoby - I like this name. It has an interesting sound to it.
Jace - This name sounds unfinished. Maybe consider Jason?
Jensen- This name sounds like a last name to me.
Jamison - Refer to the answer to the name above.
Talan/Talen - I like this name. But spelled Talan.
Nathan or Nathaniel - Nathaniel sounds better to me than Nathan.
Kellan - this sounds more like a girls name to me.What do you think about these baby boy names?
Of your two favorites I'd go with Jacoby (the lesser of two evils). They are both far too different for my tastes. Of the rest I like Jensen and Nathan/Nathaniel (I'd go with with Nathaniel and use Nathan as a nickname). I also like Nathaniel Jacoby/Jacoby Nathaniel. What do you think about these baby boy names?
Yeah I think Talan/Talen would be good its not crazy like some people try to give there baby;s unique names like i've hear of (for a boy) October (that baby died...) and there is a baby somewhere called story poor boy :( but I think your ones are good they aren't to weird.
I like Talan/Talen, it is so unique. If your baby grows up with a name like that, he will be proud to have such awesome parents like you.
jamison is different and i like nathan
jacoby talen nathan kellan
nathaniel is good and decent...
jacoby is not international name...
for us it sound name for a dog.
I love Kellan! Jensen and Jace are cute too. Congratulations!
Jensen is soo the nicest!!! I love it! Unique and cute :) 10/10
xxx
i like JACOBY the best...
i also like JACE

Are there any boy's names used in Shakespeare still common today?
I have been thinking lately of how girl names representing heroines in Shakespeare's works such as Juliet and Ophelia are still used at least somewhat commonly today but I couldn't really think of any boy names that are very common and normal. Can you think of any? Thanks! Are there any boy's names used in Shakespeare still common today?
well...clearly "William" is still very common. And Henry, and Richard. Probably not Ajax, even though that's a very cool name. And then there is Brandon, Charles, Dennis, Edgar, Edward, John ...
Yup... looks like there are. :)

What do you think of these names and what would are your worst and favourite girl/boy names?
Girl; Kendra Olivia
Boy; Harvery Patrick
Tell me what you think of them and what are your favourite names? What do you think of these names and what would are your worst and favourite girl/boy names?
The middle names are nicer. I don't like either of the first names one bit.
Kendra Olivia- I like it. I love the name Olivia and the full name flows nicely.
Harvery Patrick- It's alright but the second "r" seems unnecessary. I like Harvey Patrick much better.
My favorite boys names are Seth and Robert. I have many favorite girl's names including Olivia, Hannah, Suzanne, Rosalie, Charlotte and Bailey.
My least favorite boy's name is Jayden and my least favorite girl's name is Nevaeh. What do you think of these names and what would are your worst and favourite girl/boy names?

My favourites for boys are - Alekzi, Devereux, Valerius, Zarek, Aidan, Asmodeus and Wren.
For Girls - Alice, Xiamara, Eponine, Cassandra, Jezebella, Leta, Elsie, Delphine and Persephone..
I'm abit of a fan of foreign %26amp; rarely used names... I stole most of them from books, mainly the dark hunter series by sherrilyn kenyon :LWhat do you think of these names and what would are your worst and favourite girl/boy names?

10- love
Girl Names:
Ava Marie: I prefer Eva to Ava. I think Eva is a lot prettier and it sounds a lot better with Marie. So I'll give Ava Marie 1 and Eva Marie 10
Harlow: I love this name, it's very pretty. And don't let the Nicole Richie haters put you off it because I think its beautiful. 10
Lily: I love this one too. We have a very similar taste in names. Very pretty and a timeless classic. 10
Violet: Even though this name is becoming popular, it will always remind me of the annoying posh woman from Keeping Up Appearances (tv programme). 1
Rosalie: Its different. Its not something I would personally go for but its pretty. 8
Autumn: I think this is cute. It seems to rise in popularity and then subside then. But I think its gorgeous. Especially if your baby is born in the fall. 10
Avery: Its always argued whether this name should be male or female. But too be quite honest I don't really like the sound of the name. It has a harsh sound in my opinion 1
Delaney: Reminds me of one of my favorite actresses Dana Delaney. Very pretty and unique. A great choice 10
Delilah: This reminds me of a flower. Its ok but I'm not mad over it 5
Aurora: Its ok. Not my type of name but it is unique and it sounds very pretty. 7
Vivienne: Again this one is ok. Everyone I know with this name is like in their 50's though. I'll give it a 4
Boy Names:
Alexander James: This one is a timeless classic. Its a popular combo but never goes out of fashion. Beautiful! 10
Hayden: I love this name, especially for a boy. 10
Landon: I never used to like this name but I'm starting to really like it now. Its quite popular though that's the only thing I would say about it. 9
Gavin: Its ok. Not a huge favorite of mines though 5
William: I love this one. A timeless classic! Its beautiful! 10
Gage: I strongly dislike this name. Just sounds strange to me 1
Kingston: Its ok, reminds me of the bakery in my town. 7
Maddox: I've never been keen on this name 1
Oliver: Very cute 9
Asher: To be honest I prefer Ashton I'll give Asher a 2 and Ashton a 10
Holden: This reminds me of my ex German teacher 1

In my opinion, all of these are horrible.
From the list, I like Lily for a girl's name, and William is a nice boy's name. I have no idea what middle names could be. Maybe a middle name could be after one of your parents? For example, my cousin got her middle name, Kathleen, from her mother's mother(her grandmother).
Delilah and William are good all around names , easy to pronouce . Jocelyn and Julian could be middle names

What do you thinkof the baby boy names Tejon and Dacari?
I'm having twin boys.. just wondering what do you think of the baby boy names Tejon Alexander, and Dacari Joseph
?What do you thinkof the baby boy names Tejon and Dacari?
Very pretty :-)
I don't like them, but hey, if that's your style...go for it.What do you thinkof the baby boy names Tejon and Dacari?
My brother's name is Dacri!!! (Pronounced "Dak ree") It's cute!! I don't really like Tejon though!!What do you thinkof the baby boy names Tejon and Dacari?
Tejon..is ok Dacari is cute
what about Jacob.. or Matthew instead of Tejon..
I like Alexander and Joseph better
I do not like Tejon and Dacari, but they are not my children, so who cares. They are good twins names, because they are to close. If you love them, then they are prefect
I couldn't find the meanings of these names...are they made up? A combo of family names or something? If they have special meanings they might be ok. Dacari kind of sounds like daiquir铆 (like the drink)
yupgo for it
they are diffrent
Yeah I'm not really feeling the Tejon or the Dacari.
Honestly..Don't like them at all.
I really like Dacari (Dak-ree) Joseph. I think it is very cute. How do you pronounce Tejon (Te-john) I like that but I also like the name Tegan (tee - gan) That might be cute too.
It is just that i don't like them. They are weird.
Different
they are kinda cute
not heard them before , but they are nice xx
i like it if its pronounced Tay-jon and Duh-car-ee
Ew. Try something normal. The middle names are okay but the first names are bad.cheap make up

What do you think about these boy and girl names?
Girls:
Delaney Paige
Lila Grace
Rainey Noelle (or Noel, which spelling do you like best?)
Hadley Elaine
Katie Anne
Boys:
Colin Robert
William Hunter
Caleb Scott
Cole Matthews
Any suggestions for the boys' middle names? I kind of got stuck... And more girl/ boys names and middle names are accepted... Don't go more than 3 for each boy and girl please. What do you think about these boy and girl names?
Girls:
Delaney Paige - I don't like it that much...Just because i know people with both those names and i am not fond of one of them. So she kind of ruins it for me.
Lila Grace - I think this is very beautiful.
Rainey Noelle - I LOVE it!!! (i like it spelled Noelle)
Hadley Elaine - Different. but it flows nicely. =]
Katie Anne - I know about 10 Katie Anne's. but it is cute
Boys:
Colin Robert - I really like this. I love Robert as a middle name.
William Hunter - Cuteish. I don't think that it is a name that a kid could grow into. I mean William is. But Hunter not so much.
Caleb Scott - I love this name a LOT.
Cole Matthews - I like it Cole Matthew better.
Love Delaney Paige! And I like the spelling 'Noelle' because it seems more feminine. I like the name Adley, but not so much Hadley. As for the boys, Those names are really common and bland compared next to the girl names you have.
My favorite names:
Girls-KayLynn Nicole, Elizabeth Grace, and Brenna Lea. But, all these names have special meaning to me. I have three female cousins I'm really close to, and their middle names are Kay, Lynn, and Nicole. And the middle name Grace is after my grandma, Gracie, who passed away in August from cancer. And my other grandma, who is also my best friend, has the name Brenda Lea, so I just dropped the 'd' and added a 'n'.
Boys-Rylan Matthew and Bentley James. But, I like them because of the way they sound.
No matter what other people say, go with whatever you feel is best. I know a family who didn't decide on a name until they saw the child...What do you think about these boy and girl names?
I love Delaney Paige and Hadley Elaine! They both flow very nicely. I'm not a big fan of Lila Grace or Rainey Noelle. Katie Anne seems too plain and unoriginal to me.
I love Cole with another middle name, maybe Alexander, Timothy, or Rylan. I'm not a big fan of the others, though Caleb might be nice with a different middle name. What do you think about these boy and girl names?
I like the spelling Noel better. And for the boy names Caleb Matthew sounds better than Caleb Scott and Hunter William sounds better than William Hunter. And for another boy name Culley Drake is cool ( my friends name ). And for a girl Morgan Keely. ( My little sisters name. I am in love with the middle name Keely!! :) )
Lila Grace is great. Just for the record, I prefer Noelle. Noel is the male variant. I like Colin Robert the most, followed by Cole Matthew and Caleb Scott. William Hunter isn't bad, either. Not a fan of the other girl names, though Kaitlyn Anne with the nickname Katie would be nice.
I really love Delaney Paige!!! And Caleb Scott is really cute!!
Colin Liam
William Blake
Cole Garrett.. ( I like Colton better it is easier to pair a middle name with)
I like Rainey Noelle better than Noel.. this is a really pretty name :)
Hadley Olivia
Lila Madeline
Katie Nicole ( I like Kaitlyn better and Katie as a nn)
My Pick:
Girls -- Delaney Paige %26amp; Noelle Grace (I like these two together)
Boys -- Colin Robert %26amp; Caleb Scott
My Suggestions:
Girls -- Chloe Madison %26amp; Christian Taylor
Boys -- Corey Mason %26amp; Parker Khyden
I like Lila Grace %26amp; Cole Matthew (without the s)
Noelle Grace
Cole Matthews
Colin Robert
Girls:
Delaney Paige- 7/10 Cute! Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Delaney, but it goes nicely with Paige.
Lila Grace- 9/10 SO pretty! Simple and sweet.
Rainey Noelle (or Noel, which spelling do you like best?)- 2/10 I'm sorry, but I hate the name Rainey! It reminds me of storm clouds and gloomy thoughts. ): Noelle is gorgeous! I love it. Keep the first spelling; Noel is actually the male version (pronounced as Nole).
Hadley Elaine- 2/10 Again, sorry, but I despise the name Hadley!!! IDK what it is. It's just not pretty to me... Elaine is not bad. I would prefer Elaina.
Katie Anne- 5/10 Maybe too cutesy? How bout Katelyn Anne?
*Favorite is Lila Grace.
Boys:
Colin Robert- 3/10 Colin is OK. I'm not a big fan of Robert to begin with, and I don't think it flows when paired with Colin.
William Hunter- 7/10 I actually really like this combo! William is a classic, and Hunter I guess is more modern, but it works.
Caleb Scott- 9/10 I like this pair too!
Cole Matthews- 4/10 The S at the end of Matthew makes it sound like more of a last name... Cole and Matthew are good IMO by themselves, but together... Not so much.
*Favorite is Caleb Scott.
BQ:
The only ones I think need some altering are Colin Robert and Cole Matthews. Here are some suggestions I hope you like:
Colin Samuel
Colin Reid
Colin Joshua
Best of those three IMO is Colin Samuel.
Cole Alexander
Cole Gregory
Cole Thomas
Best of those three IMO is Cole Alexander.
Here are some more boy and girl combos:
BOYS
Noah Andrew
Parker Richard
Tyler Dean
GIRLS
Holly Elizabeth
Candace Olivia
Ava Claire
Hope this helped! (:
Great names! There are really none there I like, absolutely hate.... :)
~Delaney Paige: *** It is an ok name. It isn't really my style. I don't really like the name Delaney or Paige. But overall it is a nice name. :)
~Lila Grace: ***** I LOVE it! :) Lila is SUCH a pretty name! It is a modern twist on the name Lily and with the middle name Grace you can't go wrong. To make this name perfect in my books I'd spell it LiliaH. With a "H". Just a personal opinion though! :)
~ Rainey Noelle. ** Hmm. I like these names, although I like variants of the names better. Rainey sounds a little tacky in my opinion. I prefer the name Raine, and calling her "Rainey" as a sort of nickname. I also love Noelle! But the name don't flow in my opinion. I like Noelle Raine. :) I also prefer the spelling Noelle over Noel (I say N-Ol' not N-Oo-Eh-l when it is spelt like that).
~ Hadley Elaine. *** I like it! I like the name Hadley but prefer Hallie (Or Halle). Most probably because I went to school with a Hadley who wasn't a nice person and my brother had a horse named Hadley :/. But I still like the name!I also LOVE Elaine. How do you pronounce it though? With a hard letter "E" sound or a sound "Eeee"? Either way I like it! I prefer E(eee)laine. :) Over all a nice name though!
~ Katie Anne: *** Nice! A classic name! Both names are pretty and feminine! Again this is just a personal opinion, I don't like using either of these names as they are common and overused. I also don't like using "Katie" as it sounds childish especially when they get older. I prefer Kaitlynn Anne. :) None the less a classic and nice name!
Boys:
~ Colin Robert. ** Again I think both these names are a little overused. Colin is a srtong boys name and Robert has (and will always be) very masculine! Nice name, just not my "style".
~ William Hunter. **** NICE! William is a name which I really like! You can have cute-sy nicknames like Will, Willy etc. Hunter is more my style! I love the name hunter!! :) Personally I like Hunter William better. Still a nice name!
~Caleb Scott. ***** ADORE this name!!! It is VERY sweet! I personally think this name is perfection! And Scott is also just precious! VERY nice name!!! :)
~Cole Matthews. *** Hm. I don't know about this name. I like Cole and I like Matthew(s) but something just doesn't sit right. Maybe because It sounds more of a full name as opposed to a first and middle name. I dunno. Try Cole Matthew. :)
Middle names:
~ Colin Greyson

What are your 3 favorite boy names off of this list?
Adam Gabriel
Andrew Charles
Christopher Lee
Evan Christopher
Jonathan Caleb
Michael Brian
Robert Anthony
Samuel Patrick
Sean Nathaniel
Zachary Michael
Pick your 3 favorite names. Please rate and comment on them.
Thanks! What are your 3 favorite boy names off of this list?
My 3 Favorite;
Robert Anthony.
I absolutely adore this, and I think Robert is intensely masculine and handsome, and still traditional. I absolutely adore Robert, and Robbie is such a cute and handsome nickname.
Anthony sounds really nice with it too. It has the same feel as Robert, and provides an excellent middle name for it, and the combination is really adorable together.
-- 8.5/10
Adam Gabriel.
I also adore this. Adam is handsome and also very manly, it isn't super common like some of the Biblical names, like Jacob and such, and I like it, a lot. With Gabriel, it isn't Bible overkill, although it's a lot of Biblical names in one. I would prefer something like Adam Robert or something...
However, Adam Gabriel is actually gorgeous, although I may like Gabriel Adam a little bit more, seeing as Gabriel is one of my favorites!
I do really like this since it is traditional and nice,
-- 9/10
Samuel Patrick.
I absolutely adore the name Patrick, and it's been a favorite of mine since, well, forever. Unfortunately, my boyfriend detests the name because he always thinks of a sponge living in a pineapple when he hears the name. UGH!
I also just think it is incredibly handsome :]
Samuel is really nice in my opinion, and I really like it, it's Biblical and traditional, and very cute.
-- 8/10
The Others:
Andrew Charles-- 7.5/10
I adore Charles [it's my little bro's name!] but Andrew isn't particularly a favorite. I like Andre, the French %26amp; Greek version of the name, and they all just mean "Man".
Christopher Lee- 6/10
LOVE Christopher, I think it's adorable, not a fan of Lee whatsoever. I know women named Lee, I know MMn named Lee, and then I know woman AND men with the surname Lee. Don't likelee whatsoever.
Evan Christopher-- 6/10
Don't really like Evan much either. Sometimes it sounds extremely jocky to me and sometimes it sounds incredibly nerdy to me, and my opinion is just 'meh' on the name, which can't be a good thing!
Re-iteration: I LOVE Christopher!
Jonathan Caleb-- 8/10
Would've been in my top four, I really like it. Jonathan is really nice, and there are SO many nickname possibilities [Jon, Jonny, Nate, Nathan, Tate, Joey] that I just adore it.
I think Caleb is adorable, as it's the name of my cousin, and I just love him to bits. :]
Michael Brian-- 5/10
'Meh' not fond of either name. Although I do like Mitchell instead of Michael, and I do like Ryan instead of Brian//Bryan.
Mitchell Ryan is my preferred name :]
Sean Nathaniel-- 7.5/10
Not fond of Sean, but Nathaniel is okay, since it's my older brothers name. It fits him, and I like the name Nathaniel because I can't say I LOVE the name, because I associate it too much with him, and I obviously can't say I LOVE my older bro! :P
Zachary Michael-- 7/10
Not my favorite...Zachary is nice, but definitely not my absolute favorite name in the universe, and it sounds a bit nerdy, in my opinion.
Michael, eh, not so fond of.
I do prefer Isaac to Zachary as I love the nickname 'Zac' for Isaac over Zachary. So, again, if it were my choice, I think Isaac Mitchell would be lovely. :]
Seán Nathaniel
- Seán Nathaniel is a wonderful, masculine boys name. It's really handsome. Both Seán and Nathaniel are favourites of mine. Both are on my favourite names list. I plan to name my first son Nathaniel. Overall rating 10/10

Jonathan Caleb
- I love Jonathan but I'm not a huge fan of Caleb. It does flow well though and that is one of the reasons I chose it. Jonathan is a wonderful, masculine boys name. It's very handsome. Overall rating 7/10What are your 3 favorite boy names off of this list?

you def want to pick out a name that flows so when they get in trouble in their older years you can say it with some force and these three def have a nice ring to them - you always use the middle name when a kid is in trouble lol

Evan Christopher - I LOVE the name Evan.

I won't use anything too common. Nothing in a different language or too complicated to spell. Thanks!Does anybody know some good and rare baby boy names?

What do you think of these boy and girl names?
I know these may sound stupid to some.
Dakoda for boy (dah KOH duh) (can be shortened to Koda or Cody)
and
Makoto for girl (MAH koh toh)
If you don't like these names could you offer similar suggestions or variations of the names?
Oh and yes I am aware that Makoto is mainly a boys name. What do you think of these boy and girl names?
Dakoda is cute for a boy!
But maybe instead of Makoto for a girl, (with this name she may get teased a lot.) how about Makayla? Makayla Hope would be such a pretty name!
%26lt;3%26lt;3%26lt;3
I like dakoda but not makoto. I agree Makayla or Destiny woudl be prettyWhat do you think of these boy and girl names?
I havent ever seen the boys name spelled that way. i have always been it dakota... but it could work with a D. I have also heard it twice as a girl name. but i like it for a guy
Makoto.... um, naaa i dont like this one. O seems mascuslin, and the A seems more feminine I like Makayla, Mckenna maybe? What do you think of these boy and girl names?
I don't like Dakoda, but its a good name, I'm just not naming my baby that. and Makoto sounds nice. I'm naming my daughter Kaida Skyla, but I'm still not sure if its a girl yet so.
I LIKE DAKOTA LOOKS BETTER THAN WITH THE D BUT NOT MAKOTO

Why do ppl insist on using boy names for their girls?
I am having a boy and so many good names have been taken by girls now. Stop stealing the boy's names! Why do ppl insist on using boy names for their girls?
I know.. They think it's creative. To me names like Spencer and Riley are only for boys, no matter how you spell it.
I wonder why people care what other people name their baby? It really is a very personal choice.
So what if a girl has a boy name or a boy has a girl name. Names like Courtney and Ashley were originally boy names but you won't hear anyone throwing a fit about someone naming their girl either of those. There really isn't any reason why any name can't be used for either a boy or girl. My daughter goes to school with many children, boys and girls that are named Riley, Regan, Blake, Ty etc. The kids don't care, most actually think its cool that they have the same name as the opposite sex. So if you think you're going to do your child some emotional damage because you have chosen a name that is traditionally male or female, you are horribly wrong. Name your baby something you love, don't listen to society. Why do ppl insist on using boy names for their girls?
Yeah, I myself would hate to have a boy's name, even if it was used on girls a lot. I don't really get it, if would work if they turned out to be a tomboy, but if not, they may hate it. I don't see any reason not to just use a girl name. Two of my top three boy names are being used on girls a lot now (Elliot and Cameron) and I've heard some crazy ones like Andrew and Danny on girls. Why do ppl insist on using boy names for their girls?
I can't believe so many people on YA answers have such a sook about this.
I named my daughter Blaise and I don't give a dam what other people think. My husband loves her name, I love her name and my 11 year old daughter LOVES her name.
She is my first daughter after 7 boys and even that did not make me want to give her a "frilly" name. She is extremely feminine and has never been teased about her name.
GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!
I don't see how taking a boy name for a girl is considered stealing. If you're having a boy, don't hesitate to use a "boy name".
Some are actually unisex. The others are just plain cruel for a girl and are definitely BOY names.
I don't understand that. Maybe they can't accept the fact that they had a girl and Not a boy.But there should be plenty of good names out there I am sure you can find one that hasn't been stolen by the girls. I think the main issue is being a girl with a boy name or vice versa.
Each to his owngold makeup

What do you think of these unisex names for a boy?
I love these names, they all are unisex names, what do you think for a boy?
Ansley
Ashley
Avery
Bevan
Caelyn
Gayle
Hailee
Jean
Jody
Leigh
Macey
Sage
Shannan
Stacey
Are these unisex names good for a boy?
If you think they are to girlie, they are unisex names
If people can name girls Logan and James and Evan, which are boys names, Why not these unisex names for a boy? What do you think of these unisex names for a boy?
I personally like girl names to be girl names and boy names to be boy names. So from the list you have, the one that sounds more like a boy name yet is unisex like you want is Sage.
Yes! And usually when they are spelled different...here are some nice ones:
Taylor
Robin (Robyn for a girl)
Leslie
Tracey
Adrian (Adrianne for a girl)
Regan
Rudy
Billy (Billie for a girl)
Bobby (Bobbie is for a girl)
I also like Devin for a Boy and Devan for a girl
Kameron for a boy and Cameron for a girl!
Names like these show a man is confident with himself...
Too doornumb...Ashley was originally a boy's name but so many girls were names that,...so it is either a boys' name that so many girls ar using or a unisex name, and I think the latter is more acceptable...if it is accepted for both genders, than that is what makes it unisexWhat do you think of these unisex names for a boy?
Just because they are labeled 'unisex' doesn't mean that they aren't leaning towards one gender or another. Yes, people name daughters Reagan, Logan, things like that- but I have yet to meet a girl named James. These aren't really unisex names- unisex names are more along the lines of Avery, Jamie, Morgan, Ansley... Jody? Stacey? Bevan? Gayle? Those are so girly it isn't even funny. If you have a son, and name him something like that, he will be teased mercilessly in school. He will hate his name, and resent you for naming him something like "Ashley" or "Gayle".What do you think of these unisex names for a boy?
Ansley Its okay, could be used for a boy
Ashley NOOOO!!!
Avery I always thought of this as a boys name
Bevan never heard this one before, i dont like it either way
Caelyn not for a boy, much to fem.
Gayle ""
Hailee ""
Jean ""
Jody ""
Leigh I know a boy named Leigh, I think this one is okay
Macey no way! much too girly
Sage I dont like this for a boy or a girl
Shannan too girly
Stacey ''"
Yay unisex names! :] I have a boy name hah.
I really like Ashley, Avery (I babysit an adorable boy named Avery), Leigh, Sage, and I'll add in my own: Bailey, Morgan, Casey, Alex, Tyler, Jordan, Jamie.
i think that Ansley Avery Bevan Jean and Leigh are the best unisex names for a boy. the rest i associate more with girl names.
also i know plenty of guys and girls named evan so id say its def a unisex name. as for logan im not really sure but i think james is more of a boys name...it works better as a middle name for a girl i think.
Ansley - dont like it.
Ashley - like it for a girl.
Avery- cute.
Bevan -reminds me of bevus and butthead.
Caelyn - cute but i like it kailyn
Gayle- reminds me of an old lady
Hailee - cute for a girl.
Jean- my grandmas name
Jody- the guy who cuts our grass.
Leigh - cute middle name
Macey- adorable for a girl.
Sage- like the spice
Shannan- again too girly.
Stacey- girly. dont like it
so basically the only name i like for a girl and boy is avery.
*Ansley--How about Ainsley?
*Ashley--could be okay, if you call him Ash more often.
*Avery--This one could work.
*Bevan--I can't imagine this as a name at all, so I can't say either way.
*Caelyn--This sounds WAY too feminine. Not girly, but feminine.
*Gayle--They could be teased incessantly "GAY-le"
*Hailee--Once again, too feminine.
*Jean--Or Gene? Or if you said it the French way, which is a snooty, half-hearted "John".
*Jody--I've met a guy named Jody. My best friend's stepdad. Yeah... this name is forever ruined for me, but it's okay for a guy.
*Leigh--If you're going to say it "lee", then good. If it's "lay", just think of what the kids at school will say.
*Macey--This brings to mind the store at first, but then it grows on you. I think I like it!
*Sage--I really like this one, but I'd use it for a middle name, personally.
*Shannan--Doherty! No. no. I'm kidding. Actually I really like it. It's Gaelic, right?
*Stacey--" 's mom has got it goin' on!" No.
Basically, make fun of every name you choose. If you think the kid can withstand the torment of the horrid things their classmates will call them, then GO FOR IT!
Becky Dawn
P.S. Dear doornumberthree, ever seen Pearl Harbor? The seventeen year old nurse, Betty, is played by James King. And she doesn't go by Jamie. She's also in Sin City, but I can't remember the character name.
Caelyn, Gayle, Hailee, Jean, Jody, Shannan and Stacey are all names that I relate are more towards girls. BUT I am biased because I've only known girls with these names - I'm sure if I knew boys with these names my opinion would change. For instance Jean (spelled Gene for a boy) I didn't even think of it as being a girls name when I met the two guys I know with that name.
these could work:
Ansley
Avery
Bevan
Jean
Leigh
Sage
not these:
ashley
Caelyn
Gayle
Hailee
Jody
Macey
Shannan
Stacey
some names should stay girl names...
but some should also stay boy names like Logan and James of those you listed. I'm wondering though..you couldn't find any real boy names you liked?
Ansley - very black name no offence intended
Ashley - common but i like it
Avery - girly
Bevan - nice
Caelyn - adorable
Gayle - girly
Hailee - girly
Jean - girly
Jody - girly
Leigh - nice but again i would go with the more male spelling of lee
Macey - girly
Sage - wierd
Shannan - hmm its ok
Stacey - yeah i like it for a boy but would spell it stacy
I love Caelyn and Shannon for a boy. Keep in mind the terrible mindset of most people; they see these names as more feminine. I think that these names need a more masculine spelling. Not all can do that but Shannon for example can be spelled as Shannen.
%26lt; 3 : ] !
Ansley...girl
Ashley...my sisters name
Avery...girl
Bevan...nick name for Beverly
Caelyn...girl
Gayle...know 3 Gayle's and a reminds me of Abi "gayle"
Hailee...girl
Jean....my sisters name
Jody...I knew a boy with this name in grade school
Leigh....girl
Macey....girl
Sage.....diffently a BOYS name
Shannan....my sisters daughters name
Stacey...my daughters best friend (girl)
Well, I don't think of Ainsley or Avery as unisex. They are boys names. I've never heard a girl with either name.
Hailee is a girls name - it could be a boys if spelled Hayley.
The only ones I like are Ashley, Jody, and Avery. And for the record, I don't like any of them for girls.
I only really like ansley and avery, and I guess Im ok with Stacey because sometimes I call random guys in the hall that... (just dont ask...) :]
Avery and Ansley are okay.
To your last question: Because he'll get beat up on the playground.
Johnny Cash explained it all.
Sage is the best one. The rest are girly.
i only like sage, sorry
Ansley
Ashley
Avery

Caelyn
Gayle

Jean

Top Three:
-- Clark - I never hear this name and I'm not sure why. I think it is under-rated these days, which saddens me because people seem to fail at realizing that it is a great name. Although I would never personally use it as a first name, I would as a middle name. It is a short, solid, masculine, but is still cute with some room to grow into an adult. All in all, this name isn't heard of much and it is a nice name for your boy!
-- Nathaniel - This name is becoming more common where I live. I just recently met three little boys with this name at my cousin's school (they were adorable, by the way), which is why I don't think I could get by with using it. Nathaniel is a very strong and respectable name for your son, which is a good thing in today's society. It ages well and there are multiple nickname choices that he could go by if he so chooses.
-- Jude - I love this, but as a nickname for Julian. Jude just doesn't look complete on its own to me. I would personally name him Julian, but he would always go by Jude unless he decided differently. It isn't a very popular name, is under-rated like Clark, but is making a bit of a comeback here lately. This name is masculine and has a lot of character, which is a big plus in my eyes. All in all, this is a cute (nick)name!

My favourites are Silas, Jude %26amp; Matteo, the former two even being in my own top 5!
Silas: Silas is one of my all time favourite boys names. He's suave, handsome and a little bit cheeky, with a great strength behind him that's divine. I love his interesting sound, and I think he'd age perfectly.
Jude: I adore Jude to bits. He's soft, romantic and fluid on one side, and snappy and handsome on the other, which I think makes for a lovely, balanced dynamic. He'd age well too.
Matteo: I love how the sounds in this name work together. He gives off a perfect balance of romanticism and strength, and I think he'd age really well too :)

What are some classic and strong baby boy names?
We already picked out a girl's name that we love but can't seem to settle on a strong boy name.
What do you think of these?
Henry
Maxwell
Harrison
Kenneth
Jack
Myles
Leo/Leon
We also liked the name Wes, short for Wesley, but think Wesley sounds too feminine... any suggestions on strong sounding boy names? What are some classic and strong baby boy names?
I like all of the names you picked especially Harrison and Maxwell
Albert %26amp; Alan. These names never completely go out of style-- especially Alan, which was #122 in 2006. These names come from the Ancient Germanic. Albert means "exalted" and Alan means "precious."
Arthur. This regal and mythical name isn't used widely, but it's too classic to become completely dated. Arthur originates from Ancient Germanic and means 'the eagle."
Abraham. Between the Biblical figure and the president, this name packs about as much history as you can get. It's gaining a bit in popularity and was ranked #183 in 2006. In Hebrew, Abraham means "father of nations." For a variation that sounds more modern, try Abram. What are some classic and strong baby boy names?
Henry ( to kingish and there hardly strong they get ppl to do things for them )
Maxwell (sounds like a dog)
Harrison ( to much like potter and he is weak
Kenneth ( come on you wanna strong name shorten to Kenny)
Jack ( LOve it gorgeous )
Myles ( Okay nothing special )
Leo / Leon (Not for me )

How do you feel about boy names for girls?
I love when girls have typical boy names, let me know your thoughts on the following for a daughter...
Ryan, Devin, Dylyn, Kodi, Hayden
Let me know about others you might suggest, too! Thanks in advance :)How do you feel about boy names for girls?
It's a horrible, stupid trend that needs to die. There's nothing cute about putting a very masculine name on your poor, feminine daughter so that she can be mistaken for a boy. If anything, it's degrading. It's telling your daughter that she can't be a strong woman unless she has a man's name.
Ryan, Devin, Dylan, Cody, Hayden are all masculine boy names and are horrid for a girl.
[Edit] Poster above, Noah, Taylor and Skyler / Schuyler are NOT girl names and never will be. They're masculine boy names that have been stolen by ignorant parents. They're still boy names, they're still masculine. Just because people wrongly put them on girls, doesn't make them girl names.
Jaden, Michael, Caden, Jonah, Cory, Tyler are all boy names as well.
And Dakota....Dakota isn't a name. It's a Native American tribe and it's disrespectful to use it on a child. Not only that it's harsh, masculine, and sounds like it belongs on a dog or horse.
I hate boy names on girls
But that is just my opinion
and if you like them here are some suggestions
But if you like it what about
Alex could be short for something else
Connor (I have seen a girl with this name on youtube)
Mayson (This is a celebrity's daughter's name)
Cooper (a family on house hunter had a daughter with this name)
Ryan this name is OK but I would change the spelling somehow
Devin this name is OK but I would spell it Devon
Dylyn is OK but I would spell it Dillion or Dylion
Kodi to masculine
Hayden
I would never use a boy name on a girlHow do you feel about boy names for girls?
Hate them, with a passion.
Why? Because nobody would EVER consider naming a BOY Elizabeth, so why on earth would they name a girl Spencer?
There are so few amazing boys names compared to girls names, and now the girls are making even MORE boys names unusable.
There are many, many gorgeous names for girls out there. There's no need to steal the boys names.
I would not use any of those names on a girl... I think they're hideous on girls. How do you feel about boy names for girls?
I Love the names Ryan, Riley (I like it spelt Ryleigh), Avery, Drew, Piper (I always thought it was a girls name) and Dylan for girls. Some names I just think are too feminine for girls or i've known girls with a 'boys' name so to me it is a girls name. My favorites are Ryan, Ryleigh/Rylee, Averie/Avery and Piper (this is my younger sisters name).
I really can't stand this trend. Names like Ryan, etc. are not feminine sounding at all.
However, IF you're going to do it, I'd say make sure the middle name is extremely feminine so that it's easy to distinguish that your child is actually a girl. Example- I think Devin Madeleine or something sounds pretty. But if you do Devin Ryan, it sounds exactly like a boy name.
As far as other boy names I've heard on girls (that you've left off your list)
Avery
Hunter
Jayden
Tristan
Easton
Landon
I don't like "unisex" names. I don't want my child subjected to year after year of "isn't that a boy's name". My father's name is Johann (just like Johann Sebastian Bach) and he gets really upset and embarrassed every time he gets his name called out in public places (like a doctors office) "Joanne".
hmmm okay im not keen on names like ryan because they are just a bit too masculine.
however ... i love unisex names for girls and names like hayden, kodi, sam, harry/haz, nicky, reece etc for girls... i really like them kind of names on girl; just a bit different.
I like Dylyn, and Hayden
Depends on the name.
?
I don't think that Ryan or Devin are good enough girl names. And there are barely any out there. Like Dakota and Noah have pretty much become girl names, Taylor is a girl name, Skyler is a girl name... but all were originally boy names.
However Kodi is femme enough to be pulled off as a girl name. And Hayden is Unisexual.
Other unisex names you might like are:
Jaden (Jadenn, Jadyn, Jadon, Jadan)
Mikal (Pronounced Michael)
Bobbi (Short for Roberta and such names but I knew one who was just bobbi)
Billie (Short for W names like Wilma and whatnot)
Caden (Cadyn, Cadenn, Cadan, Cadon)
Noah
Yuri
Jonah
Corrie (Cory...?)
Tyler
Taylor

I love the idea of a boy name for a girl!
Ryan- Wouldnt really suggest this for a girl, but it's unique.
Devin- Its cute! But, I would spell it like Devyn(:
Dylyn- This is really more of a boy name. I don't think I'd do this name for a girl.
Kodi- Its pretty, and actually looks like it should be a girls name bc of how it's spelled.
Hayden- I LOVE it!!!! It's so adorable and sweet!
Other names I adore would be Logan, Jordyn, Riley, and Carsyn(:
ryan could be good like you u add a girl name like lacie-ryan not sure about the others if you want a name that is also for boys and girls like joe or jo

What are some unusual but not weird boy names?
I like names that have been around a long time but aren't that commonly used today. I have found awesome girl name: Genevieve is my favorite. I thought Jasper was a good compliment for Genevieve before Twilight, but now I would be wary.
What about:
Tristan
Gavin (comes from Gawain so it is also a derivative of King Arthur)
Rowan
Vincent
Liam
Xavier
Oliver
Richard
Jeremiah
Alistair
Dorian
Martin
I like Martin or Vincent the best with Genevieve. If I think of more, I'll let you know! What are some unusual but not weird boy names?
