Bejeweled 2 config.xml HELP!!?

Im playing Bejeweled 2 Endless mode and im looking for cheats to make it go faster. Im on another site and it says a way to speed up endless is to open config.xml and change the last 2 lines from 500 and 150 to 1. What is config.xml and what lines. How do i open it. Config.xml is a file located within Bejeweled 2 that contains all the in-game configurations that are stored outside the game. You'll likely find it at "C:\Program Files\PopCap Games\Bejeweled 2 Deluxe\Data" ... assuming you picked up the PopCap version of the game %26amp; used the default settings. If you're using a different version (Yahoo! or GameHouse), the exact location of your Bejeweled 2 folder will be different.



FIRST OF ALL, make a copy of the file BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING! That way you can restore the defaults once you're done cheating. When making the copy, name it something like config.bak.xml so you know it's a backup copy.



Second, you can open XML files with any text editor like Notepad or even word pad. If you have Microsoft Word installed or a WYSIWYG editor like DreamWeaver or NVU, your computer may load those up instead... which isn't a big deal.



Once saved, all the game modes on Bejeweled 2 will level up a lot faster! However, you'll still likely take about 2 hours to unlock Finity Mode through Endless Mode.
