What are your favorite boy names for girls?

So many people say keep boy names for boys and girl names for girls, but I love switching it up.

I actually thought about naming my daughter Jonah or Hunter.

What boy names do you like best on girls?

If you don't like them, please, don't answer. Thank you! What are your favorite boy names for girls?
I generally hate this trend...I don't think most women have the ability to pull off a masculine-sounding name and still seem attractive. The only exceptions are Rowan and Morgan. Rowan sounds very smart and mysterious and good-witchy to me...it reminds me of Rowan Mayfair from Anne Rice's Witches trilogy, and Rowan Morrison in The Wicker Man, one of my favorite movies (the original, with kilt-wearing Christopher Lee...NOT the stupid remake with Nicholas Cage.) Morgan was originally feminine, and is today considered unisex...I love it because it makes me think of Morgan Le Fay, although nowadays it's apt to sound like just another last-name-as-first, which is sad.

Instead of Jonah, why not Joan? It sounds strong and intelligent, and reminds me of Joan Crawford and Joan of Arc.

A woman would have to be exceptionally beautiful and confident to pull off being named Hunter...so why not Diana, the name of the Greek goddess of hunting?

Sorry...this is Yahoo ANSWERS, btw

You need to accept that not everyone will agree with you on any subject and you can personally make more rational decisions with opinions from both sides of any subject.

I think giving masculine names to females might have had some actual reason in the 70s when women were routinely passed over in favor of men.

There's a whole slew of female weather reporters with masculine names during that decade.

We're pretty much past that (although you weather reporters still suffer this aberration. In my viewing area we have a Kenni, a Drew, and the androgynous gender-bender, Kelly).

I don't really think it's necessary for women to pretend they need to have masculine names to be taken seriously.

Gender tends to be a very serious issue for young children and I feel that co-opting masculine names for little girls sends them a disturbing anti-feminist message that girls simply are not as valuable as boys--that girls need to be more like boys. What are your favorite boy names for girls?
The ONLY ONE I would ever consider is Rowan, and even then, I like it better on a boy. It's more of a nature name than a masculine one, anyway.

Personally, as a girl, I would rather be named something like Norma, Linda or Ephegenia than Riley, Hunter, or Jayden.

Girl names belong to girls, and boy names belong to boys. What are your favorite boy names for girls?
